Dr. Kuahik Dutta of NUS, will be delivering a talk on research opportunities at NUS according to following schedule:

The abstract for talk is as follows:

Title : An overview on research at School of Computing, National University of Singapore.

National University of Singapore is the flag-ship University of Singapore. NUS School of Computing is ranked 9^th across the world in Computer and Information Systems field. It is ranked number 1 in Asia. Overall NUS is ranked 23^rd in the world and 2^nd in the Asia, only after University of Tokyo. NUS School of Computing is composed of two departments Department of Computer Science and Department of Information Systems. The Information Systems department is ranked within top 10 across the world regardless of ranking mechanism. Both the Computer Science department and the Information Systems department are research intensive department. Computer Science department focuses their research on fundamental aspects of computing theory and systems. Information Systems department focuses on interdisciplinary research involving technology, application of technology in business and society, economics, behavioral science, social science, business and statistics. School of Computing offers Bachelor, Masters and Doctoral degree programs.  School of Computing also offers numerous opportunities for visiting faculty, student exchange programs, postdoctoral opportunities, and research exchange programs. In this presentation, Dr. Kaushik Dutta (Department of Information Systems, School of Computing, National University of Singapore) will talk about various research that are done at NUS School of Computing. He will also answer any queries related to research opportunities at NUS School of Computing.
