Because the images on the CD-ROM: Images for Building Jewish Web Sites,
have been compressed for use on the world wide web, they are lower in
quality than graphics created for print applications; some of the
pictures will not be crisp and sharp when you print them. Many of the
images look OK when printed in black and white, however, the colors do
not hold true when they are printed in color.

Also, the images on the CD-ROM are licensed for world wide web
applications. They have not been tested for print quality. Some
images, such as buttons, backgrounds and animations, are not useful for
print projects.

The Bitsela GALLERY IMAGES, however, come in several formats. BMP,
large JPEG and TIFF fomats are higher quality for printing. GIF, small
JPEG and PNG images work well on web sites and in e-mail messages. EPS
images are available for professional applications.
