Story of Bhakti Vinod Thakur

Today is appearance day of Bhakti Vinod Thakur.

I heard a lecture given from postcards by iskcondesiretree.

Lord comes to world to again restablish principles and for pleasure of His Devotees.

Krishna send his Devotees also. When Krishna left the world He told Udhava to go to place where His Devotees couldnt took His assosiation and He told Udhava to speak about Him.

Whenever an Acharaya leaves there is a Chaos.

When Prabhupad left there were many problems.

When Bhakti Sidhanta Saraswati Thakur left, there were many problems in Gaudiya Mathas.

So Disciplic succession is needed to maintain the purity of Disciplic succession.

Gaudiya Vaishnavaas were not seen as someone very pure and respactable by people.

Because when Lord Chaitanaya left there were many Upsampradayas. 

Followers were not following properly, so people were not able to see Gaudiya Vaishnavaas are pure Devotees.

BVinod Thakru came as pure Devotee- Learned all scriptures of all the religions Islaam, Christianity etc.

And finally He read Scriptures of Gaudiya Viashnavism. He concluded that these were purest.

So He became Gaudiya Vaishnavaa.

He was such a genius Megisterate 150 years back. He was most paid and respactable Indian at time of British rule.

He used to solve any case in just 6 minutes. 

British Judges would solve 5 cases a day and He would solve 30.

He was given charge of Jagannath Puri. So He made sure that system of worship to Jagannath run perfectly with very high standards,

THen He study deeply Teachings of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

Then He asked British Government to transfer Him to Krishnaghara(near Navadweep)

Britisher recieved and He said - Ok i will resighn. So they said no no. Then they transferred Him.

He stayed in Godruma Dweep and in front of His house special railway track was made for Him.

He would go out, sit on the train and go to Krishnaghara and do His job and come back and do HIs services.

He was a Grahasta Acharaya. He said that in general in Kalyuga the recommended(in general not everyone) ashrama is Grahasta.

He had 12 kids. Most of Acharya's have maximum 2 children. 

Its very difficult for anyone to be a High Court Judge and have 12 Children.

He was an ideal example of Grahasta.

Bhakti Vinod THakur desired to go to Vrindavan with a Devotee and stay near RadhaKund.

But CHaitanaya Mahaprabhu came to His dream that you reestablish my Holy Dhaam which will be worshipped in Kalyuga.

If you read his Daily Shedule, you will get to know How much Maya you are in!

He would go to bed at 8 pm and wake up12 pm.

He wrote around 100 books of which many are most important books in our Sampradaya, Chaitanaya Shikshamrita, Gitavali ... so many books He wrote.

He would take 12 mins to take bath and everything. ie 12 mins to getting up,take bath and ready with combing etc. everything in 12 mins

Then He would chant His rounds.

Then He would go to His balcony and would discuss philosophy with Himself. He would give up arguments and defeat them. Then He would write all those things in His books.

THen for half an hour He had special time to meet His guests.

He is called 7th Goswami.

He would treat everyone with same respect. Either sober or rough He would recieve them like all respect.

Either a simple person come or rich person come, He would treat the same. He would offere prasaad.

His wife Bhagwati was also pure Devotee of Krishna.

Then He would take His very simple Prasaad.

He would have 2 chapatiis and a glass of milk.

Go to train and do His work all day. 10 o clock to 5 pm.

In the evening He would spend reading scriptures of Six Goswamis.

Then He would have evening Prasaadam and then He would spend His time with family.

He was ideal Grahasta.

That time no one was aware about place of birthplace of Lord CHaitanay.

Somebody would say that He appeared on that side of Navadweep.

THere was a place Miyapur where Muslims used to live.

He had feeling that the Mayapur is same place.

He went there  and stayed for some days in a Dharamashala. 

There was a place there where Muslims would not go. All around Tulsi was there .

THey would say that some noise come here in the evening. Its like this place ishaunted.

He had some feeling . He thought that all around here Tulsi is there.

Once He was watching from balcony of His Dharmashala and He saw some effulgance from that place. He showed His son that did you see that?

THen He went there and explored that place.

THen He took Jagannath Das Babaji Maharaj who was 120 years old that time.

He would carry Jagannath Das Babaji in a basked and when they reached that place, Jagannath Das Babaji Maharaj jumped out of basket and shouted "Nimai Janmabhoomi"

and then Jagannath Das Babaji Maharaj danced there.

Bhaktivinod THakur understood that Jagannath Das Babaji Maharaj has revealed that this is Janmabhoomi of Lord Chaitanaya.

THen He collected one one rupee from every person there and built a small temple there.

Once He saw from Godruma Dveep towards Antardveep where ISKCON propery is present right now and He said I can see an Adhbhud Mandir there.

Even Nityananda Prabhu 400 years before predicted this.

Prabhupaad said that King of England and President of America will come to inaugarate this temple.

The 15 million Us Dollars will be used to make the Golden Dome of Temple.

THis will be biggest temple in the world.

When Devotees would sit for class that would be 1achre. Around 10 tousand Devotees would sit and hear Bhagwatam Class.

It will take 7 years for construction and 5 more years for finishing.

Once Devotees were watching Video of BhaktiVinod THakur with Prabhupaad and one Devotee said - Prabhupaad you are fulfilling Bhaktivinod Thakur's mission.

Prabhupaad said - Bhakti Vinod THakur was so powerful that He alone would have made whole world Krishna Conscious - but He is so kind that He has left the services for us to complete.
