Hi Friends,

I have completed 3 semesters in MS SS and dissertation is pending. I do not have a clue on what needs to be done and how it has to be started. Any advise would be very helpful to me.

Hello,

Nothing to worry first of all.

I have completed my degree last year.

1. Think about aCn idea of your interest and map it with the topic of disseration(category),

2. Discuss with your mentor and collect the inputs on the same.

3. Once you are sure that you have an confidence that you can do research on that idea, start the same.

4. Collect as much information as possible from internet and read books/ document ur  inferences.

5. Over the period, you would have worked on that idea by now.

6. Documentation is painful. You have to spend quality time on the same. The documentation should speak on the technical aspects/ algorithms etc on how it can be implemented  compared to the idea itself.

The examiners there are some professors, if you are lucky you will get a good one. My experience was not that great as the examiner was a lady , llike a school type teacher.

As a whole, if spent some decent time everyday towards the project and think on the same, you will easily make it. Not that difficult as a whole.
