I’ve noticed that some skins barely change in value over time, while others spike and crash fast. As a casual player, I’m not trying to flip skins, but I also don’t want to lose value. What makes certain skins more stable?

I once bought a skin during hype, only to see its price drop a few weeks later. Since then, I’ve been more careful but still unsure what to look for.

What helped me was understanding how availability and demand actually work. Instead of following trends, I started reading explanations about drops, collections, and long-term interest. In the middle of my research, I came across cs2 wiki, which breaks these factors down in a simple way. That knowledge changed how I buy skins now—I focus less on hype and more on consistency, and my inventory feels much more reliable because of it.
