Why do TikTok videos sometimes disappear from saved lists?

I’ve had situations where I saved a TikTok video, and later it was gone or I couldn’t find it anymore. Does this happen often or am I doing something wrong?

Instead of relying only on TikTok’s saved section, I began downloading important clips so I don’t lose them later.
