Beautiful Mind Records is a record label launched by Jon Bellion in July 2019, with the vision to "take care of artists for the rest of their careers." The first act he signed on was American eight-piece pop and soul band, Lawrence, whom he heavily worked with on their third studio album, Hotel TV, of which the LP was released through after their departure with Warner Records.[1]

Rod Wave has not publicly revealed why the album has not been released yet, although fans have speculated that the delay could be in part due to his arrest, and the later dismissal of those charges, in May.

I used to work in the music industry, and it goes back to that 'difficult second album' concept. I think there's a parallel with the music industry - give people time to get things right. Quality cannot be rushed - if you haven't got a quality game, your community's just going to get fed up with you.
Despite the dark tale of Rod Wave addresses in each song, listeners are exposed to resiliency and reflection on events that he has been able to deal with over the years.
