Thanksgiving Week Schedule
We have school on Monday, November 25th, and Tuesday, November 26th
There is no school on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, November 27-29
Students do not need to go to their Internships on Wednesday, November 27th
Staffing News
I am happy to share that Tori Harris will be returning to her teaching duties after the Thanksgiving Break, she has been on family leave since the beginning of the school year. Mrs. Harris teaches social studies, advisory, and student leadership at Bitney.
During Tori’s leave her history and advisory classes have been taught by our long-term sub Mr. Mark Paz. We have been very lucky to have Mr. Paz as a part of our community this year. He has done an amazing job working with our students and staff. I would like to share a message to Mr. Paz from our Student Council President, Victoria Hayes:
On behalf of the students of Bitney Prep High School,
I would like to send my deepest gratitude to Mr Mark Paz for stepping up and being an amazing substitute for us. He has brought with him so much enthusiasm towards his lessons, kindness to his students, and fun for everyone around him. We are all so lucky to have someone like him teaching our classes and being an amazing member of our community. Thank you, from the bottom of all our hearts, thank you Mr Paz for being here with us and for being a part of our community. You have really gone above and beyond and I simply can not thank you enough for all you've done for us.

A Message From Parent Council
Hello Bitney Parents!
We’re thrilled by the amazing response to our Pie Fundraiser. A huge thank you to everyone for your enthusiasm and participation—your support makes all the difference!
We will be picking up the pies and delivering them on Tuesday, November 26th. Pies will be available for you to pick up at the end of the school day. If you have any questions or need to make alternate arrangements, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
We’d also like to share some exciting news about the upcoming Teacher’s Holiday Luncheon!
This special event will take place on Wednesday, December 11th, at 12:00 PM. We, the parents, will be coming together to prepare a delicious lunch to celebrate our amazing staff. Be on the lookout for a sign-up link soon so you can join in on the fun and contribute to this heartfelt tradition!
We ask each family for a $10-$20 donation. All donations, along with the funds raised in November, will be combined and evenly distributed among our wonderful staff as a token of appreciation for all they do. Thank you for your generosity and support, it truly makes a difference!
Remember: our parent council meetings are the first Wednesday of every month from 6-7 PM. Our next meeting will be December 4th at 6 PM! We hope you can join us!
