Here are your updates for the coming week.
First Week of Spring Semester
We are officially through half of the 2024-2025 school year and are starting the Spring Semester. This will be a regular school week with students attending their internships on Wednesday. Report cards for the fall Semester will be sent home toward the end of the week.
January Charter Council Meeting - Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 6:00 pm
Our Charter Council will be meeting at 6:00 pm this Tuesday. The meetings of the Charter Council are public and you are all welcome to attend. We are still looking for a couple of parents who might be interested in joining the Charter Council. This is a great way to support our school and to help provide important oversight. If you are interested in possibly joining the Charter Council the first step is to come to a meeting.
January Parent Council Meeting - Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 6:00 pm
The January meeting of the BPHS Parent Council has been rescheduled for this Wednesday, January 15th at 6:00 pm. All parents and guardians are welcome to attend and participate in the Parent Council meetings.
2025-2026 Recruitment Season
We have begun the process of recruiting students for Bitney’s freshman class for next year. Each year, Tori Harris and her team of student recruiters do an amazing job of promoting Bitney to all of the 8th graders in Nevada County. This week they will be visiting Lyman Gilmore and Yuba River Charter School. If you know any families who have students who have 8th graders who might be interested in coming to Bitney Prep please ask them to contact our office.
