There has been widespread speculation about the seats the AAP will be contesting in the Lok Sabha election. We wish to reiterate that this is not about winning elections and "substituting" the parties in power. It's about an "alternative politics" driven by a deep desire to bring about change at every level in our politics. As a first step, we have announced a target list of politicians with records of serious corruption charges against them. Our foremost goal will be to defeat these candidates and drive home the message of zero-tolerance for corruption.

Friends, I am sure you understand that defeating such candidates is an uphill battle. They have virtually unlimited cash reserves and the power to stand up to the toughest opposition. So we need all the support we can get to ensure the defeat of these candidates.
