bit.ly Developer Mode

Does bit.ly support a developer mode? I don't see it anywhere in the documentation.

I'm asking because we are developing a site locally that will use the bit.ly API for shortening links. As we test this by hand or run automated tests, for example, it will continue to pollute our account with a bunch of dead bit links. Are there any best practices here for what we should do or should we just suck it up and deal with the broken links?

Hi Kenny,

We don't have a developer mode as such. Instead, just create another free account and use that for testing and development.
