Custom Keyword/Hash

Hi,

i've bought a custom domain so i want to create a custom short link
with my custom keywords, how i can do it?
For example, i need to create a link like this: mydomain.it/mykeyword

Sorry for the delay on getting this through to the group!

There is currently no way to customize a link via API. You can use the web interface when logged in to use a custom keyword with your custom short domain.

Also, note that all bitly custom short domains share a hash space; so if bit.ly/mykeyword is already taken, you will not be able to use mydomain.it/mykeyword.

Hi Avinash,

If you are a paying customer, we have the /v3/user/save_custom_domain_keyword endpoint (documentation: http://dev.bitly.com/links.html#v3_user_save_custom_domain_keyword) available, where you first create a Bitlink via /v3/shorten then pass the Bitlink and the custom keyword in to this endpoint to pair the two.
