display translation units which have no source or target pair

Hello,
I am using bitext2tmx 1.0 M0 version.

I like very much this tool, but I would like to see in it a
indispensable function.
For example, if the source text has 5 sentences, and the target text
has 6 sentences, the program does not display at all the last sentence
from the target text.
The case I am talking about is very often met, especially in the case
when 1 source sentence is translated in 2 target sentences.
How can I solve this problem?

I would like bitext2tmx to solve this problem, because I want to write
about it in my paper.

Peter,

It is as simple as using the spilt and join functions/buttons.

Place the cursor in a segment and split it where appropriate.

Play around with that and check the output TMX to see if the segments
came out correctly.

I wasn't talking about the process of merging and splitting after
importing the source and target files.

I was referring to the process of importing the files.
I imported a source file having 5 sentences and a target file having 6
sentences, and the last sentence from the target text was not showing
up.
For example, if I want to import a source file having 10 sentences,
and a target file having 12 sentences, the program will not import the
last 2 sentences from the target file (as they would not exist,
although they exist).
And the example I am talking about is very met.

Is it a bug in the program? Or is it set to show only 1:1 alignment.
There are many types of alignment, 1:1, 1:many, many:1, many:many.
It would be useful to show everything and to let the translator to
split and merge the unmatched translation units.
Anyway, the tool is very good, it is a good alternative to commercial
products, but it lacks this function.

This is not supposed to happen.
Obviously, hardly any original and translation are going to have the
same number of segments. I have not seen this problem myself.

Please check on different files for original and translalion first to
confirm it as a consistent problem.
Else you will have to check the formatting in your file, encoding, or
something like that is causing the error.
