Bites is exactly the app I've been looking for for my G1!! However, I
have a few questions:

1. When I try to add ingredients to a shopping list, an error message
pops up saying that no shopping list app is installed and to try
"installing Trolley or OI Shopping List." I do, in fact, already have
OI Shopping List, so I'm not sure why it won't auto-add to it.
Ideas? Or does Bites only work with Trolley? (If so, why does it
recommend that I install OI Shopping List?)

2. I noticed that you can change the way in which you sort the
recipes, but there is no explanation as to what "modified ascending"
and "modified descending" orders mean. Can you explain?

Thanks!

Clara

Hi Clara,

Thanks for your questions, I'm glad you enjoy using Bites! In answer
to your questions:

1. I'm afraid I jumped the gun on this feature. I worked with OI
developers to add this feature to OI shopping list, and it has been
tested and works. The only problem is the OI guys are busy on their
entry for the Android Developers Challenge so haven't had time to
release the update that has this feature. All I can do is wait,
hopefully we'll see this update from them soon.

2. "Modified Descending" shows your recipes with the most recently
changed at the top of the list. I use this because when I get a new
recipe that is what I want to make so I want it to be the first thing
I see. "Modified Ascending" is not really that useful (oldest recipes
first) but I put it in because it complements "Modified
Descending" :-)

Happy Cooking,

Ben

Hi Roberto,

Glad you like the updates, I've had mixed responses about the changes to Trolly.

Reset list removes all items completely - there will be no items in the autocomplete box. Clear list just takes all items off the current list, but they will still appear in the drop down box.
