Specs for BitCurator workstation

Hi all,

I’m the digital archivist at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai archives, and we’re about to become new BitCurator users. We’re planning on having a standalone workstation or laptop with a native install of BitCurator.

My question is, for those with a similar set up, what are the specs for your machine? I see the technical requirements in GitHub, but our colleagues in IT have encouraged us to request something that not just meets minimum requirements but is also powerful enough to meet needs for a few years into the future. I would love to know what's working well for you or what you wish you had.
