Hi All,
I was approached by the Digital Asset Manager at my institution with a question about what to do with staff portraits after a staff member leaves the institution. This is the photo for their badge and the website.
My instinct is no, we would not hang onto these and keep them as part of the institutional record. When an individual's employment is terminated for any reason, we would simply remove and discard these photos. Is that wrong? Is anyone willing to share your thoughts and institutional policy on this matter?
