bitcurator 4.4.1 .ova file

Hi friends,

I'm new to BitCurator and am attempting to install it on VirtualBox using the  latest.ova appliance (4.4.1). When I attempt to download, I get a 403 Forbidden error. Is this user error or a legit access error? Thanks!

Oops. Looks like there was a permissions error on the host. Fixed, and should work now.

I am very new to BitCurator and I am desperately trying to install it on a Virtual Box. I don't seem to be able to find the latest .ova file.

Hi Fabiola,

Prebuilt virtual appliances are currently unavailable. We're looking into sustainable options for ongoing hosting 

and support of these files. In the meantime, I'd suggest installing BitCurator onto a clean Ubuntu 22.04 VM 

following the instructions starting on page 5 of the Quickstart Guide at: 

https://bitcurator.github.io/docs/BitCurator-Quickstart-v4.x.x.pdf.
