Hi all,

Whenever I open Grsync, it gives me a pop up that says "The session you specified on the command line doesn't exists" [sic].

I tried removing Grsync and reinstalling it and the same thing happens. If I close the pop up and try to use the program anyway, it force quits itself as soon as I click "Execute".

Has anyone encountered this before? For context, I'm running BitCurator on a dedicated Linux machine (Ubuntu 24.04.4). I started this position fairly recently, so I'm uncertain if it has always done this. Our other machine has no Grsync issues and is the same setup.

Thanks for any advice,

It appears nobody has gotten back to you on this, yet. This issue probably indicates a mismatch between the expected startup session for grsync and the actual session configuration info stored in ~/.grsync/grsync.ini. It should be sufficient to remove grsync.ini by opening a terminal and typing:

rm .grsync/grsync.ini

then restarting grsync. It should regenerate the .ini file with just the default session.

Thank you so much Kam, that worked!

Best,
