Hi all,
I'm working on taking some disk images for a collection and I'm having an issue with one RAID drive in particular. I was able to image two others without a problem, but this one is a different model. If I try to mount the drive, I get this error: "Error mounting system-managed device /dev/sdc2: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/loop/20, missing codepage or helper program, or other error." In Guymager, I can start a disk image but it stalls out at 3 or 5%. LED lights on the front of the RAID seem to indicate that the disks haven't gone bad, but who knows. This device has been offline for a while.
Does anyone have any advice on where to go from here? Is my best bet removing the drives and trying to image them individually? I appreciate any thoughts you might have.
Thanks,
Kim Gianfrancesco
