Hi I run RSM on BTCT.CO which currently has a market capitalisation of 833BTC and growing.  I am potentially thinking of moving the asset to BitcoinX but I have a lot of questions and there's not any detailed guides on how to do so.  Is there any other assets using this yet?  Do all shareholders have to use the patched armoury client?  How easy is it too receive dividends and vote in motions.  Is there a central place listing all stocks bids and offers.  I'm going to need simple detailed guides for investors and potential investors.  If someone(s) is willing to help us we could potentially donate at least 1% of profits towards development of this project and maybe a bit more.  We currently have 1(TH/s) on pre-order due by October and are going to reinvest 90% of profits into more ASIC's.

Hi!

Well, the problem is that our software is not ready yet.

I know that we promised to complete it back in 2012, but run into a number of problems.
ArmoryX which we had in January of 2013 was more-or-less complete, aside from some problems in p2ptrade.
But we had to abandon it because Armory itself was a bad platform (for my taste): it crashed rather often, and it required a lot of resources to run because it keeps some sort of a blockchain index in memory.

We switched focus to web client then, but development was slow...
To some degree it was my fault: I waited for others to develop it instead of doing it myself.
(Well, I did some smaller things, but when I was working on ArmoryX I relied only on myself.)

This summer I got some ideas on how to solve pending problems...
So we, basically, restarted development in July. This is why it isn't ready yet.

But I believe we'll be able to make a usable version by the end of September, maybe even earlier.

I apologize for delays, and I'll do my best to help you with issuance of securities when software is ready.

Is there any other assets using this yet?

No.

Do all shareholders have to use the patched armoury client?

They'll need to use a client which knows how to work with colored coins.
We will offer both web client (browser extension) and a client which can be installed on desktops.

How easy is it too receive dividends and vote in motions.

Well, it will be easy once we'll add this features.
However, we probably won't implement voting right away.

Hi Matthewh

Maybe we can have a call so ill give you more information on what to expect at the end of the month, understand better your needs and how we can adjust as fast as possible?

We don't want to be the first and dive into too early although we don't mind being an early adopter.  We'll wait and watch and see if it suits our future needs.  What we need the most is the ability to pay dividends, vote on motions and trade shares.  The ability to force stop trading and forced buy back of shares would also be good.

I am working with someone to evaluate the different solutions to this problem out there and try to implement a proof of concept.  So far we have colored coin, mastercoin smart properties, possibly ripple, freimarkets - I have invested some time in understanding the first two, and need to spend some time on the last two.

Two of my action items are a voice of customer (what it is you are looking for from this type of tech)   as well as a feature matrix for the competing technology.  I encourage you to contribute to the VOC as right now as we are gathering questions so feel free to read it and add or edit.

The bitcointalk thread is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=292384.20

Ideally we can use one of these technologies for a proof of concept, so that people with real investment BTC are more confident in using these systems.
