Bitcoin Consensus Analysis Project (BCAP)

Surfacing the Bitcoin Consensus Analysis Project (BCAP) announced today with the release of 'Analyzing Bitcoin Consensus: Risks in Protocol Upgrades' (https://github.com/bitcoin-cap/bcap/blob/main/bcap_v1.0.pdf). 

The project analyzes bitcoin's consensus mechanism through the lens of 6 stakeholders across the stages of a consensus change and offers recommendations for each stakeholder for future consensus changes.

While V1.0 was spearheaded by Steve Lee, Lyn Alden, and Ren, the BCAP is an open source project. Comments, suggestions, and contributions are welcome: https://github.com/bitcoin-cap/bcap
