I'm pleased to announce the release of bitcoinj 0.11.1, a maintenance
update.
The most important fix is protection of the wallet against dust spam. In
the default configuration (DefaultRiskAnalyzer), dust will not enter the
wallet unless it is confirmed by the blockchain.
If you need to clean up your user's wallets from spam, there is a new
Wallet.cleanup() that you can call after loading the wallet.
PkiVerificationData.rootAuthorityName now exposes a user friendly name
of the CA that verified the certificate of a payment request.
A bloom filter bug was fixed that stopped filters from updating when a
key was added.
Finally Wallet.toString() was re-arranged so that its mostly sorted from
new to old.
The v0.11.1 release is signed with my GPG key. The git hash of the
release is 95abd140f016ec89e84c05b1469d57b4def7badf. The pre-built jar
can also be fetched from our Maven repository. Releasing to Maven
central is still planned, but has not happened yet.
