I'm pleased to announce the release of bitcoinj 0.13.5, a maintenance
update to the Java implementation of the Bitcoin protocol.
The main change is to evaluate incoming RBF transactions as risky.
Also, the "max coins" checks have changed a bit: Previously a wallet
could be rendered inconsistent by receiving a few transactions that add
up to a balance higher than max coins. Now, this state is allowed while
the obviously fake transactions will go dead at some time. Note a single
transaction with a value higher than max coins is still invalid.
Some bugs were fixed as well. For a thorough list of changes, have a
look at the git log [1].
The v0.13.5 release tag is signed with my's GPG key [2]. The pre-built
jars can be fetched from Maven central [3]. Those artifacts are signed
with my key as well.
