I'd like to release a CryptoCoin v0.4.x release soon.

Major updates:
  • btc-script
  • btc-transaction
  • btc-opcode
  • crypto-hashing
  • binstring
Deprecation of:
  • sha256
  • ripemd160
  • convert-hex
  • convert-string
Setting `defalutNetwork` will propagate down to `btc-script`, `btc-transaction`, and `btc-address`. Anything else we should include?

I haven't actually looked at that parent project too deeply; does it connect to the p2p network directly? Should it get wired up to p2p-manager or btc-p2p at this point?

Brooks, no I don't think so. The CryptoCoinJS library should be for compatible implementations that can run in the browser like BitcoinJS. I think that there should be a separate server implementation CryptoCoinJS-server like BitcoinJS-server. That seems to make the most sense to me at least.

Thoughts?

Agreed. I think the server implementation would be good.

I think though, before 0.4 release, we should clean up the eckey module and have a btc-eckey and have a similar defaultNetwork implementation in btc-eckey similar to that in btc-address

Kind regards,
