This lecture and seminar will be interesting for developers, entrepreneurs and students of information security departments. Interested undergraduate students of other programs are welcome as well.

2. How does Bitcoin work
3. How do transactions work
4. What is blockchain and mining, proof of work / proof of stake
5. Ledger based systems (Ripple/Stellar, HyperLedger)
6. How do financial transactions work
7. Multisignature
8. Intro to smart contracts
9. Anonymity and cryptocurrency

Tuesday, 24.02.15: 9-00 AM

Lecturer:
Chief Cryptographer at Tembusu Systems, Stellar Development Foundation.
Bio: Pavel has a Ph.D. in information security and has worked as an engineer on public key infrastructures for the banking industry and government. In 2014 joined Stellar Development Foundation and worked there as a cryptographer. Pavel is passionate about educating people about cryptocurrencies - he created an academic course and already held it in 2 universities. He also founded a research lab that is dedicated to resolving scientific problems of cryptocurrency industry.
