History of the Units:
- The two (2) model EM 610B open cycle, single shaft, Gas Turbine Sets
- Manufactured by GEC Gas Turbines Limited and commissioned in 1981.
- Originally installed in 1980 and operated site until 1991, the Gas
Turbine Sets were relocated, re-commissioned at site and renamed as CG3
& CG4 in 1992
- They were available for service through until 1998 when they became
surplus to generation requirements.
- They are currently under preservation.
- Less than 1000 total hours running since new
Inspection of the plant, and serious offers can be submitted until the
4th of April 2006.

distillate and one for demineralized water.

Power plant was shut down November 1st of 2005.
This equipment was just upgraded in 2000 from a 22.5 MW plant to a 30
MW plant.
Plant was built in 1954 used for coal, then changed to natural gas in
1967
and in 2000 it was upgraded from a 22.5MW STG to 30MW STG.
This plant is for the most part fully intact.
Annuals were done every three years or 30,000 hours which ever came
first.
This plant was shut down not due to the plant being old, but because
the
steam lines that were underground were high maintanence. This plant has
a
lot of newer equipment in it. Plus it has a entire substation. 2-7500
Kva
Transformers that are pad mounted and in good condition as well.
Plant is currently under asbestos abatement, and will be scheduled
for dismantle starting in May of this year. Owner is willing to work
with
buyer on schedule. Owner is willing to allow equipment to be stored on
site
inside a secure fence out of the way for a few months until buyer can
ship.
These units are located in Alaska.
Owner is willing to sell all equipment for 1.3 million dollars or best
offer.
