In the issue I hope to cover the waterfront: copyright, registered
industrial design and trademarks (including the ubiquitous WWW) -
world-wide, that is the situation in different countries is of interest.
For my part I will be treating multilateral copyright (based on my most
recent book) and possibly multilateral trademarks and designs based on my
next book.
I was wondering if any 'bit' subscribers would like to play. The
audience
will be mainly lawyers and arts administrators (as well as related
academics). If you are interested, I will require confirmation of your
intent ASAP, a CV and a paper for May 31, 2000.
As a suggestion I am proposing to all contributors a simple approach to
structure the papers - diagnosis (the current situation); prognosis (where
it appears to be leading) and prescription (where one wants it to go and how
to get there). This is just a suggestion.
With best wishes, I remain,
Yours truly
