Running Netscape under Win3.11 Without Eating up Memory - Possible?

Every system on which I have used Netscape under Win3x seems to run into
the same problem: if the machine is freshly booted, it runs quite well,
and quickly. But the longer you use Netscape, and the more sites you
view, the slower the transfer gets and eventually, in all but the most
memory-packed machines, Netscape eventually GPFs.

At that point, even closing down Netscape, and then rerunning it, does
not help to speed things back up - and usually it will GPF again quite
quickly. The only thing which helps is a complete (cold!) reboot.

I have to imagine that there is something within the setup (or perhaps
the config.sys or some *.ini file) which will help to alleviate this
problem. There must be *something* which will, or people wouldn't keep
using Netscape!

Any help would be *greatly* appreciated!

Thanks!
