windir environment variable

Hi,

I need to write a batch file to add some lines to WIN.INI, and it needs to
run on PCs which may have been set up in various ways. I want to use
something like

copy p:\somefile.xyz %windir%

This works fine in NT, but because the windir variable is in lower case it
*doesn't* work for 3.11 over MS-DOS. Is there any way (short of testing in
the batch file and creating another variable myself) to get around this?

If anyone out there knows, I'd be grateful.
