I am working on getting the VSE Connectors working but when I try to
fire up the Health Checker I get the error "Your VSE Connector is on a
wrong APAR level. Please make sure you that you are at least pq8809 and
vse version VSE/ESA 2.6"

I downloaded the VSE Connector server and the health checker and
installed them both along with the VSE Navigator. The Navigator works
fine so I know I can process data from the VSE Connector Server. If I
go past this error, I get a message back "cannot connect to server or
invalid password"

I looked at my classpath statement and that looks to be ok.

z/VSE 4.1.2, Java 1.5, TCPIP 1.5F.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Terry,

>> If I go past this error, ....<<

The message is in error if running on VSE 4.x

the other- no idea- it works here with 4.1 and 15F (well- kind of: TCPIP
data is not yet correct).

Yeah, the APAR numbers 'rolled over' from PQxxxxx to PKyyyyy some time
ago. Thats why our simple (or stupid?) numerical check does not work
anymore....

You can simply ignore that message, on z/VSE 4.1 it is not dependent
on any specific APAR number anymore. That is true for VSE Health
Checker and VSE Navigator. We will fix that with the next version of
those tools.

Kind regards,
