The problems seem to have been resolved (thanx AT&T)...

Web site and phone system should be available once again!

Yeah, they like to say that it will take up to 24 hours and then it only
takes a couple of hours, so you'll be most appreciative.

(You know I do the same thing when I experience an unplanned outage!)
