Somehow I have the impression this is not current. One unfortunate
characteristic about the Inet is that things are so easy to forward,
which is why I never, ever pass these sorts of things on. As an
example, I keep receiving the Save NPR Petition that first began
circulating in 1996 when the Republican Revolution took over Congress
and tried to do in the NPR. I may be wrong, but I think this fits into
the same category. As I remember, this attack took place some 2-3 years
ago. I wonder how many of these petitions are floating in cyberspace
like so many Flying Dutchmen.

Yes, I think in hindsight you are probably right on this one, Bob. It was
a close of business whim for me, and I was a bit impulsive to post it
without thinking about it and checking first. Mia culpa.
