Thanks to all,

Thanks to all Rob (you are correct I used two veriables, 1 for display),
Walter, Mickey, and all names I may have missed. Also special thanks to
Walter for the scooter ride to test on MVS.

This REXX list is great when you are in a hold that you can not dig your
self out of.

Thanks again.

Ed.

We're also a lot of fun at wild parties!

Speaking of wild parties... I have always believed in the axiom that a
programmer can only produce 10 good lines of code per day. I believe this
because that is my metric for earning a beer. So, if I start to get too
prolific in a single day I usually end up undoing some good work. Therefore,
on a good day, I'm done by 9 AM, feeling good and ready for some fun...

My excuse for a post like this on a Monday: I work weekends, this is my
Friday...

Rob

That goes hand in hand with being lazy (a trait I consider a plus in a Sysprog):
Those 10 lines of code will get the whole job done! :0)

Makes me think of Larry Wall.

I think this quote is attributed to Linus Torvalds, but I don't recall
exactly who said it: "I'm lazy, so I like to do it right the first time."
