HI:

I think maybe I should quit reading the local paper.

Two weeks ago I reported to the list the death of 10 yr old Kevin
Musslewhite, Chino Hills, Calif. Well, in this morning's paper was the
death notice of 16 yr old Travis Thom, of Moreno Valley, Ca. I recall
the article in the same paper when he receive his heart and lung
transplant July, 1996, three months after our grandson Michael got his
new heart at Loma Linda (4-16-96). Anyway, Travis received his tx at
Los Angeles Children's Hospital. He was taken there this past Saturday
morning, and he died Saturday evening. His father states that the death
of his son was due to rejection.

Hello Dave,

I scanned the internet and found your comments online about my son
Travis Thom April 26,1999, and was wondering what list you were referring to for
Kevin Musselewhite. By the note below seems you have experience with
transplants. Just wondering about your note. Travis was a great young
man. I feel blessed to see his name come up online. If your still at
this email, and don't mind chatting about this it would be nice to hear
your story, your thoughts.
