I think is is the same reason that my surgeon told me for six weeks
while I was waiting that "I was on the top of the list" even though he
knew it was bullshit; why he tells me now that the rejection I have is
nothing to worry about; why my cardiologist can find the time to talk
to me before my biopsy and after it if things are good, but doesn't
have a whole lot to say if it turns out to be questionable. Those in
the medical profession don't like bringing bad news to people. Who
can blame them? It really sucks: "I'm sorry, your son/daughter/etc is
dead. Can I have their organs?" And even though it would never be
put like that, maybe thats how the individuals involved feel it SOUNDS.

Please take me of this list ASAP. There seems to be no other way to do it!

I don't think they are that insensitive to other peoples feelings, I just
believe that they have medical malpractice to watch out for. They are also
"egotists" if I may. They don't want to admit that they don't know what is
wrong, which is understandable, considering all of the "status" that we
give to doctors. About them asking for organs, I don't know how to feel,
in a way, I agree, and in a way I don't.
.02 worth.
