Hi group. I wanted to get some feedback on TB 10. I am experiencing a
great amount of instability, and was wondering if others are having this
problem.

I know someone said it was much more stable.

Is there anything you can do to make it more stable. I have run the repair
kit on my book, and I optimize my save, but this doesn't seem to make a
difference.

I build a question then when I save it is shutting down.

Any ideas?

Hi Stephanie,

In my experience, TB10 is by far the most stable version of ToolBook. I
started using ToolBook about 4 and half years ago.

Have you made any changes to any systembooks, dlls or anything like that??
Have you tried re-installing TB?

Kirk,

I added my own system book, but didn't change any of the TB files. I
haven't tried reinstalling it. Although, this could be an option for me.

I think it may have something to do with me adding pages for question I've
created and then deleting a few of the multiple choice question I don't
need.

The ASYM_evaluation objects in the actions editor keeps throwing out
certain objects.

It doesn't seem like when you delete things in toolbook that it is
cascading.

Not sure at this point, but if it doesn't have anything to do with the way
I am building question I will try reinstalling.

Thanks,

Hi Stephanie,

If I recall, you recently said you were attaching your own system
book(s) to the runtime environment. Sometimes, a little bugginess in a
system book can cause instability in the main application. You might try
detaching your system book for a time and see if that helps.
