Has anyone else run into a problem with the tb100hyp system book?

I'm suddenly getting an execution suspended error when I try to save a book, produced in 8.9 and updated to version 10. It only happens after I add a custom system book to the sysbookstack. That system book was also updated to version 10 using the version updater.

The tb100hyp book fails in this handler:

to handle save
system s_tbk_hypTargetWindow

forward
clear s_tbk_hypTargetWindow
end

I'm not purposely editing any of the toolbook system book, but when I click the Edit button in the Execution Suspended dialog, that is the code in the system book that is highlighted.

The book is being saved, but won't close on its own if I try to save at the same time. Debug isn't helping much. When I look down the message stack in the debugger window, my book (tbk or sbk) isn't in the stack.

TIA
Peter H.

Hi Peter,

Check your custom system book and make sure it doesn't have tbxxhyp.skb
linked as a bound book. I would open it up in 2004/8.9, remove the bound
book, and then update to TB 10. This is usually what is going on for my if I
have any issues with the hyperlinking system book.

Hope this helps,

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for the reply... but that doesn't seem to be the issue. I checked the
original version of the system book and it has only one system book attached
and it wasn't the "tbxxhyb.sbk" book. I checked the original lesson and the
updated lesson and neither version had any system books attached.

This isn't a huge problem because I just updated these files to test a few
things. However, something like this always bothers me. I wonder if there is
some way to remove the tb100hyp.sbk system book from the stack to see what
happens...

This is one of those times when I wish I had a tech support contract with
SumTotal so I could ask them. :-)

Thanks,
Peter H
