I want to advise a student how to improve the English pronunciation
of young Russians 9 - 12 years old. I know that contrastive studies
and trained, careful listening can identify the problems, but does
anyone have suggestions, know of materials that will help a
teacher to get children to do helpful pronunciation exercises? We
CAN'T give them a lecture on the production of vowel and
consonant sounds and then send them into a language laboratory
to do phonetic exercises!
