<div>What is Gladius?</div><div></div><div>Gladius adds enemy unit frames to arenas for easier targeting and focusing. It shows a health bar, a mana bar below the health bar (optional), a cast bar below the mana bar (optional), a class icon to the left side of the health bar (optional) and important buffs and crowd control durations (optional, overlays the class icon). The frame resizes itself to the current bracket (optional).</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>Gladius uses the 3.0.2 arena unit ids, therefore it'll add units automatically to the frame (byebye targeting macros) and you'll always be able to target/focus the enemies, regardless of if they are added when you're in combat. The cast bars and the buff/debuff timers should be 100% correct.</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>You can add important buffs and crowd controls in the auralist.lua file. You will have to select a priority for it. If a buff/debuff is already displaying when the spell is cast it'll only show up on the class icon if the priority equals or is higher than the current one displayed.</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>More features:</div><div></div><div>Arena enemies targets (optional): displays the class of the arena enemy's current target in a small frame on the health bar to the right.</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>Trinket status (optional): has a few different display options, but in general it shows if the PvP Trinket is ready for the arena enemy.</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>Slash commands:</div><div></div><div>/gladius ui, config, options - displays the configuration screen</div><div></div><div>/gladius test1-5 - shows a test frame with the chosen amount of test units</div><div></div><div>/gladius hide - hides the test frame</div><div></div><div>/gladius trinket - simulates a trinket being used for the first arena target</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>But.. but.. this is very similar to Proximo and SSAF?</div><div></div><div>Yes, I simply created this as a learning project for Lua. I actually didn't plan on releasing it but in the end I thought it turned out pretty good and decided to give it a go. I do not expect to start competing with the big boys, but perhaps someone else is interested in using it.</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>Thanks:</div><div></div><div>Thanks to Proximo, SSArena Frames and their respective developers for working as both inspirational and informational sources.</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>Note: If you find any errors or bugs, please report them to me via </div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>Gladius addon 3.3.5a free download</div><div></div><div>Download: https://t.co/ESVdMFIdqw </div><div></div><div></div><div>Is anyone having this issue witht he new update? Maybe there are other addons I have conflicting? Another thing is i do get lua errors when i load the arena map. It is specific to gladius. I am actually at work right now and I cant actually remember the error messages I was getting.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Remember to reset the profiles and manually delete all previous configured profiles, for whatever reason old profiles were causing the addon to disapear - possibly for using outdated settings that came from the ancient version of the original Gladius and they both (old Gladius and new Gladius) share the same settings files.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Was watching some of the arena tournament videos, and was curious if there was a way to configure gladius or another similiar addon that looks like the shoutcasters screen for abilities/trinket/DRs etc.</div><div></div><div></div><div>You can also argue that not using addons is the mark of a bad player, because they are refusing to use tools which would reduce that difficulty, therefore choosing to play a harder game.</div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>This is really cool. Another future soldier addon (still waiting on OFrP for Arma 3). I'm trying to do something of an american future soldier (FFW/FCS) for my addon. Could you do a version of your uniform with the collar up around the neck? Currently it looks weird with the soldier having gear on and the collar folded down, and all pictures I've seen of it have soldiers wearing the collar up.</div><div></div><div></div><div>Do you find yourself struggling to track cooldowns or interrupts? Do thecrowd control abilities you use not last as long as they should? Tracking suchabilities and diminishing returns can be difficult to do without help. Thereare thousands of addons to choose from, but to make things easier, we havepicked 6 addons that every PvP player should be using.</div><div></div><div></div><div>OmniCD is anadd-on for those that want to know extra information about their teammate'scooldowns. For healers, this is an absolutely mandatory addon to have.Having the knowledge to know when one of your partners has their trinketor a defensive cooldown available is crucial.</div><div></div><div></div><div>An alternative addon to OmniBar isNamePlateCooldowns. This addon is customizable and can track any abilities you would like to see.The primary difference is that the cooldowns are displayed above the enemyplayer's nameplate. This is great for those that do not want to keep lookingdown at their OmniBar. It can take time to glance down and with this addon, thenameplates are normally eye level, helping you react faster to enemycooldowns being used.</div><div></div><div></div><div>No matter if you usesArena orGladius, these are byfar the most important addons to have in PvP. sArena in combination withDiminish doesthe exact same thing as Gladius itself. These addons are highly customizableand give you important information on the enemy team. Tracking diminishingreturns, what honor talents they are using, and what spells they are castingare some examples of the information these addons give you.</div><div></div><div></div><div>It does not matter if you are a beginner or a seasoned PvP player; theseadd-ons will improve your gameplay drastically. The addons mentionedgive you the information you need to keep track of all the information youneed. Let us know in the comments if there are any addons that you use thatare not in this list!</div><div></div><div></div><div>Hi, downloaded GladiusEx today and getting it all setup. Trying to get the pvp trinket tracker in arena frames to show large on the frame, similar to original gladius. When I use the test function, pvp trinkets don't show up at all. When i go in game, this is what happened... Any help is appreciated, I've looked at the menu in arena>cooldowns>group 1>category>pvp trinket, and there's basically nothing in there to visibly adjust where the trinket is.</div><div></div><div></div><div>As I said Vendethiel, I looked in that menu and there's no controls to actually view or change where the trinket is on the frame. I really hate how the trinket is a small icon as part of the class cooldown tracking, rather than a large icon like on gladius or sArena.</div><div></div><div></div><div>SoundAlerter is an addon that alerts players via sound when enemies are casting or have used certain abilities aswell as a tracker for when abilities have worn off (eg. divine shield down, deterrence down).</div><div></div><div> dd2b598166</div>
