Hello all,
I have just had a truly surreal, at least for me, experience. My
department's AVP came by to ask me if there were any conferences I
wanted to attend. When I told him that I had just returned from
TechComm/99 a couple of weeks ago, he told me to look around for
something else that I'm interested in because due to the Byzantine
process known as the *Budget*, the *Conference* budget was high and he
needed to spend it (as opposed to the *Training* budget, which was at
$0)!
So, does anyone have any suggestions? I am particularly interested in
porting existing hard-copy procedures manuals to a corporate Intranet.
Therefore conferences devoted to HTML styles, tips, etc. would be great.
I am not interested in on-line Help though. Also, any conferences
devoted to technical writing in general would be great.
Thanks!
