If you're receiving this, odds are you somehow missed out on the
notification several months ago that, due to Bitnet's continuing
failure to send messages through, the Superguy Mailing List was moving
to a new home.

To make a long story short, yes, we did move, and the list works a
whole lot better now. Here's how you can move with us!

UNSUBSCRIBING FROM SUPERGUY@UCF1VM

Open your email program and send email to list...@ucf1vm.cc.ucf.edu
In the BODY of that email, place the line

UNSUBSCRIBE SUPERGUY

Then send it. Perhaps with a nostalgic tear in your eye as you bid
the old list's home a fond farewell.

SUBSCRIBING TO SUPE...@EYRIE.ORG

Open your email program and send email to majo...@eyrie.org In the
BODY of that email, place the line

subscribe superguy

Then send it. And remember to _save_ the informational email you
receive as an acknowledgement. You wouldn't believe the number of
dufuses who send "Oh please unsubscribe me from this list because I've
forgotten how!" email to the list every year.

CATCHING UP ON PAST POSTS

If you didn't know the list moved, odds are you've missed a couple
months' worth of Superguy posts. You want to catch up, don't you?
Okay, so open up your web browser and feed it one of the following
URLs:

http://www.eyrie.org/cgi-bin/autocollect.cgi
http://www.cs.columbia.edu/~lennox/autocollect.cgi

(The eyrie one is usually faster, but can sometimes be hard to reach.)

This is the Superguy Autocollector, the automated archives search and
retrieval utility. There are helpful instructions included at the
site. This webpage is compatible with all web browsers, including
Lynx.

If you've posted to this list in the last few months and you don't
find your stories listed in the collector, you may need to repost
them. The posting address for the new Superguy list is
supe...@eyrie.org.

Note: The Superchat Superguy discussion mailing list is still located
in the same place.
