The Conference on Computer Recognition Systems CORES'05 ims to bring
together researches and to provide an international forum for the sharing,
exchange, presentation and discussion of original research results in both
methodological issues and different application areas of pattern
recognition.
The conference covers all topics in pattern recognition including:
. Classification and interpretation of text, video, voice
. Statistical, soft and structural methods of pattern recognition . Image
processing, analysis and interpretation
. Features extraction and selection
. Machine learning
. Trends and relations recognition and analysis
. Data and Web mining
. Machine-oriented knowledge representation and inference methods
. Knowledge-based decision support systems
. Advanced signal processing methods
. Special hardware architecture
. Applications
The list is not exhaustive. Papers on all aspects of pattern recognition,
image processing and data interpretation are welcome.
Venue
Rydzyna Castle is one of the largest ducal palaces in Poland, it is a
magnificant example of 17th Century Baroque architecture, surrounded by a
moat. Some rooms have been restored to their original splendor. Its 14 ha.
park, with many lovely avenues, ancient trees and long moats, provides
opportunities for walking, riding and other outdoor activities. Rydzyna is
on State Highway no 5 from Poznan to Wroclaw, just 6 km (4 miles) south of
Leszno. Leszno is served by frequent trains between Poznan and Wroclaw and
is about 45 minutes from each of them. Several times a day Intercity
Expresses from Warsaw to Wroclaw and from Poznan to Cracow, stop at Leszno.
Taxi and bus services are available at Leszno station. Poznan and Wroclaw
are the closest airports with service to Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna,
Copenhagen, Warsaw and other European cities. For further details please

. Submission of camera-ready papers: February 16, 2005

Information for Authors
Papers must be written in English. Only original, unpublished papers are
invited. Authors should submit an electronic version of papers as pdf files
by the conference e-mail box before January 3, 2005. All submitted papers
will be reviewed on the basis of technical quality, relevance, originality,
significance and clarity. After the notification of acceptance (February 5,
2005), authors will be allowed to make a correction in accordance with the
suggestions of the reviewers and submit final camera-ready papers before
February 16, 2005.
