Sepis is defined as a systemic inflammatory response arising from unknown or sspected infection, leading to widespread tissue injury and manifested by two or more of the following conditions: Fever (100.6 F) Hypothermia (96.8 F) Tachycardia HR greater than 90 bpm, Tachypnea resp greter than 20 , altered mental status, Hyperventilation PCO2 less than 32 mmhg, Leucocytosis WBC greater than 12,000 cells per mm3. Leukopenia WBC count of less than 4,000 mm3.
What other signs and symptoms have you seen with your patients who are spetic?
