One year Contract, in Norwalk California, Salary open but competitive. Description Installation, maintenance and customization of IBM software products e.g. OS/390, OS/390 System Automation, Resource Management Facility, SDSF, DFSMS, etc. Installation, maintenance and customization of Independent Software Vendor (ISV) software products e. g. CA-Spool, CA-View, CA-1, CA-11, CA-7, CA-ACF2, ABENDAID, FileAid MVS, Expeditor, Output Master etc. General support within the operational environment including problem determination and resolution. Creating and maintaining the Operating Systems documentation for use by Technology Division, Operations and other support organization staff. Providing Operating Systems staff with technical assistance in support of IBM and ISV software products. REQUIREMENTS: 1. Five (5) years experience within the last ten (10) years working as a systems programmer in a data center using OS/390 or MVS as the primary operating system. 2. Two (2) years experience within the last five (5) years providing installation, maintenance and customization of OS/390 software components or comparable operating systems using the System Modification Program Extended (SMP/E). 3. One (1) year experience within the last five (5) years supporting CA software products. 4. one (1) year experience within the last five (5) years working within the OS/390 Parallel Sysplex environment. 5. Six (6) six months experience within the past three (3) years developing technical documentation in support of Operating Systems and associated operational procedures.
