Help: How to address an envelope to Slovakia

She has been in the states since the early fourties.
Unfortunately, I never really talked too much about her(our) heritage
until now.
Recently she has fallen sick. She desperately wants to contact her
brother in Slovakia
I have found a translation tool on the web to convert the words for
her letter, however, I am having difficulty understanding how to
address the envelope. She told me where to find an old envelope from
her brother that has a return address on it and it says this all on
one line....
Lesko Josef Solnicka 85 p.p. BoL' 07653 oku Trebisov Slovensko.
I know his name is Josef Lesko
And Slovensko is Slovakia
But does the rest make any sense to anyone?
Can someone explain the best way to address the envelope so that I can
be sure it will get there?
Any assistance would be appretiated.

Steve, I'd recommend you to send a letter by poste restante (as a registered
letter) on the address:
Vazeny pan /* means Mr.
Lesko Jozef /* Family Name and the First Name
Solnicka 85 /* Street
Bol, okr. Trebisov /* City name and the name of District
076 53 Slovak Republic /* ZIP & Country
On the back of the envelope or in the top-left part of the letter clearly
write your (return) address, where the letter will be sent back if it doesn't
reach a consignee...

Im sorry, Helen, but you are wrong. "Solnicka" is a name of the street, not
a name of village (DEDINA)...

Bol' is a name of small village near Kralovsky Chlmec (south-east part
of Slovakia, about 8 miles from Ukrainian border and about 6 miles from
Hungarian line)...

It's much appropriate to include ZIP code here as well....

Sorry, Helen, but tell me, how many American (or European even) post officers
know where is "SLOVENSKA REPUBLIKA" (Do YOU know, what state is e.g. "Al
Imarat al Arabiyah al Muttahidah" or "Suomen Tasavalta" ??). I'd recommend
you to put in this place (if you want to prevent any prospective delays or
failures, of course) more applicable in official/international terms:
"SLOVAK REPUBLIC" or just "SLOVAKIA"...

Yeap... very important for a letter to be delivered...

I don't think so. Better should be to leave it there... My experience with
Slovak Post Office say that...

Thanks Everyone for your help!
Wow! I figured I'd be lucky to get 2-3 answers but I was pleasently
surprised with atleast 20+ replys. Of course, with that I got a
slew of different answers but I did address it close to what is listed
in this message. I also sent it registered mail and included English
and Hungarian translation (hopefully, it was from the web).

might take you up on that when he responds. If youor anyone else
would be kind enough to check out this link and let me know how well
it translates from English to Hungarian I'd be interested to know if

Bol' is a village of only 500 people. That's all?! I have found out
quite a bit about my Heratige thanks to this situation. If anyone
else has any info on the village of Bol' I'd be interested. I
actually found it on a map on Lycos 6 Mi North of Hungary and 10 Mi
West of Ukraine.

The words are OK but you have to think a lot to make sense of sentences.

Just a small correction:
It's Solnicka not Bol' which which is so small. The two villages are about 3
km apart.
Believe me, I lived in the area for almost 40 years. But after the change in
1991 they might have changed the names back to Szolnocska and Boly.
