Contact the nearest Canadian Immigration Centre or Embassy.
If you were born in Canada, there should be little trouble with
it. Or, weren't you? ...

: they did when Czechoslovakia was still in one piece.

: I myself am oficially a Slovak citizen, trying hard to survive in the

: If I had the chance to stay in Czechoslovakia I would have done that.
: Unfortunately enough the democratic system broke down and a few VIPs

: vanished from the surface of the Earth. Next destination was pretty
: much clear: the U.S.A. - the country of opportunity. The rest was
: simple, let me just tell You that I recently purchased the American
: flag and hang it proudly in my living room. I used to be a proud Slovak
: for some time too I must admit but I just couldn't find a simple thing
: to be proud of... wait, yes, the school system in Czechoslovakia used
: to be excellent for future computer specialists but how many of them
: find the courage to stay in Slovakia??? With $250 a month??? Forget it...
: As a trainee I'm earning four times more than that and it's gonna

: I just love America and it's not only about money ;) Looking forward
: to your fierce responses,

Hey guys - I am with you, and I am a Czech (if you don't mind). Why
don't we start a Czechoslovak government in exile - we couldn't be any
more laughable than the assholes in the real government(s) in the dual
corruptocracies (novotvar :-)).

Ivan

BTW. Nothing pisses me off more in my former homeland than crossing a
BORDER between Moravia and Slovakia - who the hell wanted that ?

The flag of Czechoslovakia hangs proudly beside the Canadian flag in
my room.

Count me in. I'm a Czechoslovak (one parent born in Moravia, the
other in Slovakia). I've been flying the Czechoslovak flag for years and two
politicians are not going to tell me it's anything else!
