This isn't the same guys who did a song about a certain type of diver named
'Jeff', is it?

A mate of mine (called Jeff) has been plagued by it for years :-)

BTW - wasn't there another song about eels? It had a very distinctive rhythm
- sort of <chachachachacha-CHA!>. Yep - it's a conger.....

;-)

Yep, one and the same! As my daughter gets older & understands more, I
may have to stop playing this one in the car. "Daddy, what's a muff..."
;)

Is this what you guys are looking for? I got it out of the Deja News
archives.

IT'S A MORAY

See the thing in the reef
With the big shiny teeth
That's a Moray

Put your hand in the crack
And you won't get it back
Thats a Moray

He can swim he can glide
But he'd rather hide
In the coral

If you dive
stay alive
listen to me for there is a moral

Use a prong
ten feet long
When you see that big eel called a Moray

He's hungry
And you see
You are the meal that he would adore'

Down below
We all know
He's that mean eel, they call him a Moray

Put your hand in the crack
And you won't get it back
From a Moray

See that thing in the reef
With big shiny teeth
Thats a Moray

He's hungry
And you see
You are the meal he would adore'

Down below
we all know
He's that mean eel, they call him a Moray

Put your hand in the crack
And you won't get it back
From a Moray

NOW BEFORE THE FLAMES START...I DO NOT ADVOCATE USING A 10 FOOT PRONG ON
POOR LITTLE MORAYS :-)

Another of the Bare Foot Man's songs is one called "The Lady of the Sea"
and the is one line I cannot figure out what they are saying and it has
bugged me for years, can anyone help?

Atlantic, Pacific or the Gulf Stream
She's wild and she's crazy
The ultimate dream
Don't try and change her
She's warm and she's cold
When stormy or tranquil
She's in control
She's deep and she's mighty

She gives her.............

What is he saying in this line?????

That's it, Jan.

I was going to re-post it for the information of those who wrote in answer to
my question, but you beat me to it! (Don't understand why my search of
DejaNews didn't produce this.)

Jan,

The missing word is "Bounty". And yep, that's the song. Thanks for
posting the lyrics...I haven't had time to type them up! (I'm currently
a full-time Dad to an 11 month old daughter...).
