Someone mentioned that she wished that RS was still on. I think A&E is
currently running it, but I'm not sure of the schedule. I've caught some
episodes both in the morning and afternoon.

This isn't about romance novels, but since Remington Steele did have a lot of r
omance in it, I'll ask.

Does anyone remeber what the last episode was about? I recall watching an episo
de where they were in Ireland(or was it Wales, or maybe some other country near
there) and RS discovered who his father was; I also rememberthat I was disappoi
nted with most of the episodes in the last season. Didn't think Jack Scalia's c
haracter brought much to the show. But, somehow I keep wondering what happened
in the end...

TIA,
Cindy

Barbara,
I saw the first part of the episode. And here I always thought I liked
Pierce Brosnan best well-groomed and suave. I think I like him angry and
dirty even better 8-P(tongue hanging out in most unladilike fashion)

I've seen a few posts in reference to the "last" episode of RS.
If you are referring to the one when he is thinks that the Earl of
Claridge is his father, I'm afraid that that is not the last one. I
think that it was meant to be because the series was cancelled. However,
as soon as he was offered the role of James Bond after Roger Moore, the
network uncancelled RS. Then with the series back in the line-up,
the role of James Bond was withdrawn and given to Timothy Dalton, because
the studio wanted the actor playing 007 to be exclusive not doing a
series at the same time. The series ended with the episodes featuring Jack
Scalia, and made it through
most of the fall. I am so glad that Pierce Brosnan finally got the James
Bond role, I think he will be wonderful. I've been a RS fan ever since I
was about 10 and my mother made me watch all the episodes with her. He
looks good dirty or in a tux, it doesn't matter!
