I've got a graduate student who wants to examine the NFL labor situation
in 1987 with a rhetorical approach. He's aware of general movement
stuff, has some background in labor law and business courses dealing with
labor/management relations, and looks to have some access to both
mass media accounts and "internal" accounts. He's most interested in
contrasting strategies used for public audiences and for the more limited
settings of the National Labor Relations Board hearings and direct
negotiations.
Any assistance on this project would be welcome. We would especially
welcome any sort of rhetoric analysis of negotiations or administrative
hearings.

Thanks for your attention.
