The "Nancy" started in Savannah and ended in Atlanta. For
reference purposes, the intermediate towns were:
Ardmor
Oliver
Dover
Rocky Ford
Millen
Midville
Wadley
Tennile
Gordon
Macon
Forsyth
Barnesville
Griffin
Here I'm on Shakey ground, but I believe it then went through:
East Point and
Atlanta

You are correct! The Nancy Hanks did go thru East Point to Atlanta.
Nancy Hanks then returned to East Point where it was turned on the wye
to head back south on the next trip. I used to work at East Point
back in the 70's and learned this history from the Center Road
trainmaster who worked 1st hand during those times.
